Self-Advocacy and Traveling the Country with A Disability!

Today I sit down with Beth Hudson, and she shares her journey after becoming disabled after a motorcycle accident in 2017. We discuss the various ways Beth has advocated for herself. Beth also gives great advice for travelers with disabilities.

Mentorship, The Complexity of Living with Disability, and Wheelchair Basketball!

I had a really candid conversation with Doug Dumas about his career as a disabled athlete, and an advocate for people with disabilities. He talks about the complexity of dealing with multiple health challenges. He also discusses why mentoring young people with disabilities is the most important role he has ever played. I really enjoyed this conversation!
